Three years ago, during the fourth United Nations Environment Assembly, a global agreement was reached to reduce the consumption of single-use plastics. In Colombia, since June 1st of this year, the Congress of the Republic approved a bill that prohibits the use, commercialization, manufacture and importation of this type of plastic. However, in Colombia for 14 years there has been a company dedicated to the importation and distribution of alternatives to single-use plastics, Ecogreen.
